Individual, paired, and small group treatment of lan¬guage disorders from a developmental, relational per¬spective that include the parents/family unit and honors the neurodiversity of the child. Strong emphasis on pragmatic language/social communication development from ages two through teens. Special interest in chil¬dren and teens with Asperger Syndrome, PDD-NOS, High-Functioning Autism, and Nonverbal Learning Dis¬order (NLD). Assessments and school or home program consultation also available.

Scope of practice: Provide individual, relationship-based speech and language therapy for children on the autism spectrum, ages 18 months to 12 years. Also provide school-based, in-home, and clinic-based consultations and evaluations. Family participation and training are an integral part of this intervention.

SLTA is a non-public agency (NPA) that works with school and home programs to provide speech, language, music, and occupational therapy to children who have been diagnosed with language and speech delays, oral motor development and oral sensory difficulties. Parent training and consultation with home programs and school personnel are a high priority. Translation for Spanish speakers available.
