Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is the one agency in the community through which people with mental retardation or other developmental disabilities (Autism) and their families are helped to make use of all essential public and private services to meet their special needs. The Lanterman Developmental Disabili¬ties Services Act mandates that all Regional Centers provide services and supports for persons with devel¬opmental disabilities. In addition to direct funding for services, Regional Centers are required to advocate and pursue all possible sources of funding, such as school districts, for people with developmental disabilities.

The ACRC Board meeting schedule and Committee meeting announcements can be obtained from Lisa West, Board Secretary at LWest at AltaRegional.org.
